Song structure & tags
This “knob” lives mostly in the lyrics box: bracket tags like [Chorus] tell the model how sections flow. Style still steers timbre and genre—don’t expect structure tags alone to fix a wrong mix.
Style vs lyrics
Division of labor
- Lyrics (+ tags): story, section order, instrumental breaks, spoken lines.
- Style: instruments, vocal tone, production—see Lyrics vs Style.
Tags that help layout
Section flow and endings
Use clear sections for longer tracks: [Intro] → [Verse] → [Chorus] → [Bridge] → [Outro]. For endings, [Fade Out] or [Ending] can reduce abrupt cuts—see Troubleshooting.

When tags are ignored
Metatags vary by model version—if a tag is ignored, simplify section order and reinforce intent in Production (e.g. “drop after second chorus”).
