Privacy Policy
This policy describes how we handle information when you use this website and the extension. We are an independent project; we are not Suno, Inc., and the extension is not an official Suno product.
1. Website cookies, consent and analytics
Necessary storage
Necessary storage supports choices or features you request and cannot be disabled through the optional-cookie controls. This includes recording your privacy choice, security or load-balancing functions provided by our hosting infrastructure, and the theme preference stored in your browser when you actively choose light, dark or system appearance. These items are not used for advertising profiles.
Your choices
For visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland, usesuno.com uses Google’s certified consent management platform under the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. The message offers choices to consent, not consent or manage options. Optional advertising and analytics storage is controlled by those choices. You can reopen the message using the Privacy & cookie settings control in the site footer.
Google Analytics
usesuno.com uses Google Analytics (Google tag / gtag.js) to measure traffic. Google’s consent mode passes the choice collected by the consent message to Analytics. When Analytics storage is not permitted, Analytics is not allowed to store or read analytics cookies. When permitted, your browser may send Google information such as the page URL, IP address, browser or device information and general location and may set or read analytics cookies or similar browser storage.
Microsoft Clarity
usesuno.com uses Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site through interaction analytics, heatmaps and session playback. Clarity may process page and layout information, clicks, scrolling, mouse movement, browser or device details, performance and diagnostic events, and ordinary connection information. Microsoft masks input-box content by default so the text you enter into website tools is not uploaded as readable input content.
Clarity recognizes the Google consent mode signals generated from the consent message. When analytics storage is permitted, Clarity may set or read first- and third-party cookies or similar identifiers to connect page views into a session. When analytics storage is not permitted, Clarity operates in a limited no-cookie mode and does not link page views into a continuous session.
Google AdSense
usesuno.com includes Google AdSense publisher code to verify the site and, when advertising is enabled, display and measure ads. Google and participating ad technology providers may process device information, IP addresses, page and ad interaction data, and may use cookies or similar storage according to the purposes and providers shown in the consent message. Rejecting optional purposes prevents personalized advertising storage; depending on Google’s serving rules, non-personalized or limited ads may still be displayed.
Google and Microsoft control their own processing. Read how Google uses information from partner sites, Google’s Privacy Policy, and the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Browser controls and the Google Analytics opt-out add-on can limit some processing where available.
2. Website tools and network requests
Local text tools
Text-only tools (such as Prompt Builder, lyrics diff, tag formatting, normalization, timing and Style cleanup) process the text you enter in your browser tab. The site does not send that working text to a usesuno application backend.
Public Styles catalog
The website's Styles page sends read-only HTTPS requests to the UseSuno Styles API at stylesapi.aibiei.com to load published Style entries. Requests may include the search text, sort order, catalog rotation value, page size and pagination cursor selected or generated during your catalog session. Category, mood and other refinements are currently applied in your browser after results are received. The API also receives ordinary connection information such as your IP address, user agent and request time.
These website catalog requests do not require UseSuno sign-in and do not send your private Prompt library. The Styles API may retain limited operational or security logs; catalog results and request parameters are used to provide, secure and maintain the public Styles library. The extension's separate read-only access to the same public API is described in section 6.
Public-link tools
Tools that inspect or download from a public Suno song, playlist or creator profile are network-assisted. This includes the Song Inspector, Batch Link Parser, Cover Art tool, Playlist Downloader, Profile Downloader and Suno Downloader. Public-link tools send the public Suno URL or public item identifier to UseSuno-operated proxy services at sunoapi.aibiei.com or profile-songs.aibiei.com to retrieve public song, Hook, playlist, profile, feed or asset metadata on the user's request. The browser may then request audio, images, video or other public assets directly from Suno or its CDN.
The UseSuno proxy service receives the public Suno URL or public item identifier you submit, together with ordinary connection information such as your IP address, user agent and request time. When the proxy retrieves a public page or feed, Suno receives the proxy service's request. When your browser subsequently requests an asset directly from Suno or its CDN, those providers receive the asset URL and your browser's ordinary connection information. The site interface does not intentionally keep a lookup history, but this policy does not promise that the proxy, Suno or CDN providers never retain operational or security logs. Do not submit private, unshared or personal URLs. For tool-specific details, read the notice shown on the relevant tool page.
Embedded Suno media
Some guide pages display public cover images from Suno’s CDN and official Suno players as supporting evidence. When one of those images or players loads, your browser connects directly to Suno or its CDN and sends ordinary connection information such as your IP address, browser information, request time and the usesuno.com origin under the page’s referrer policy. Playback and the embedded player are operated by Suno under Suno’s own terms and privacy practices.
The current Google consent control governs the Google and Microsoft advertising and analytics services described above. It does not yet prevent these embedded Suno images or players from connecting to Suno when the page loads. We disclose that limitation here while we evaluate a separate external-media control.
3. Extension: what runs where
suno.com scope
The extension is designed to operate only on https://suno.com and its subdomains, in line with its permissions. It helps you read and fill Style Prompt fields while you use Suno. We do not claim any access to Suno accounts beyond what you do in the browser with the extension installed.
The extension uses the tabs permission to find or open a Suno creation tab and send the command that opens its manager. It does not use that permission to collect or upload your general browsing history. The alarms permission schedules a periodic Chrome Sync check; data is pushed only when Chrome Sync is enabled.
4. Data stored locally
On-device storage
- Your saved Style Prompts and related metadata (including title, prompt text, tags, timestamps, pinned state and usage counts), favorites, recent prompt history, language, theme and sync settings are stored using Chrome extension storage APIs on your device unless you enable a sync feature.
- If you sign in with Google, the Supabase authentication session is also stored in Chrome local extension storage so the extension can keep you signed in.
- You may export or import data as JSON from the extension popup where that feature is provided.
5. Chrome sync (optional)
Cross-device sync
If you enable storage.sync in the extension, selected recent Prompt records are written to Chrome Sync and may be synchronized through the Chrome/Google browser account signed into your browser. Chrome Sync is operated by Google, is subject to Chrome storage quotas, and may not contain every local Prompt when the quota or item limits are reached. That processing is governed by Google’s privacy policy. UseSuno does not operate Chrome’s sync servers or receive those Chrome Sync records.
6. Optional UseSuno cloud sync (Supabase)
Sign-in and database
UseSuno cloud sync is separate from Chrome Sync. If you choose Google sign-in and run UseSuno cloud sync:
- The extension currently offers Google OAuth only. Supabase Auth receives the Google account information needed to authenticate you, including an account identifier and email address; the extension displays the email address to show which account is connected.
- The Prompt records you choose to send by running cloud sync, including their text and related metadata, are stored in
spm_user_promptsand linked to your authenticated account identifier. Cloud and local records are merged using their update times. - This is a UseSuno-managed Supabase service. It is not a cloud project configured or controlled separately by each user. Supabase processes authentication and database requests as UseSuno's service provider under its own terms and privacy policy.
If you do not sign in and run UseSuno cloud sync, the extension does not send your private Prompt library to that backend. Signing out ends the local session but does not by itself delete already-synced cloud records.
The extension also makes read-only HTTPS requests to the public UseSuno Styles API at stylesapi.aibiei.com to display published Style entries. Those catalog requests do not upload your private Prompt library. Links to usesuno.com open public help, privacy or Style pages only when you choose them.
7. Optional community features
Community and moderation
The public catalog can be read without signing in. If you use an authenticated community action, such as saving a cloud favorite, publishing a Prompt for review, liking an entry or submitting a report, UseSuno's Supabase service receives your account identifier plus the content or action needed to provide that feature. Approved public submissions may be visible to other users. Do not submit personal data you do not want visible in a community context.
8. Use, sharing and Google API Limited Use
Purpose and service providers
- We use extension data only to provide or improve Prompt management, authentication, synchronization, public catalog and community features described in this policy.
- Extension data is shared only with the service operators needed for an extension feature you use: Google for Google sign-in and Chrome Sync, Supabase for UseSuno authentication and cloud data, and the public UseSuno Styles API for catalog requests. Suno receives normal requests made while the extension operates on Suno pages. Website proxy requests are described separately in section 2.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use or transfer extension user data for personalized advertising, credit decisions or sale to data brokers.
- We do not use your prompts to train generalized AI models unless we explicitly say so in a future update and give you a clear choice; the current product is prompt management, not model training.
Google API Limited Use. The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
9. Retention, deletion and control
How long data remains and how to remove it
- Local extension data: remains in Chrome extension storage until you delete records, clear the extension's data or uninstall the extension. Export any data you want to keep before clearing it.
- Chrome Sync: is controlled by Chrome and your Google browser account. Deleting a Prompt while Chrome Sync is enabled updates the extension's sync set, but copies and retention are otherwise governed by Google's Chrome Sync controls and policies.
- UseSuno cloud Prompt records: remain until you delete the corresponding Prompt while signed in and the deletion reaches the service, or until you request deletion. Signing out alone does not delete cloud records.
- Account or unresolved cloud deletion: email contact@usesuno.com from the relevant account and request deletion. We may retain limited records where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention or legal obligations.
10. Children
Age limits
The site and extension are not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
11. International users
Cross-border processing
If you use the service from outside your home country, data may be processed in countries where Google, Microsoft, Supabase, or other providers operate facilities.
12. Changes
Policy updates
We may update this policy. We will post the new date at the top. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
